You can create two types of projects in Genny by LOVO. Voiceover and Video.



First, log into Genny. Then, click New Project.

 You will see two options. In Voiceover mode, you will be able to create audio only content with one or more speakers. In Video mode, you will be able to upload your video, create a voice over, adjust the timing, and export as Full HD video. Click Create and voila, you have just created your first project! 🎉

Creating a project

Generating a voiceover is as easy as typing into a word processor.



Simply type, upload or copy and paste a text, choose a voice, and then click generate.

Step 1: Enter text



The text is entered into a text block. You can either directly enter text by typing into the text block, or copy and pasting.

Step 2: Choose a voice



Choose your perfect voice. We have 300+ voices, and they can be easily filtered and tested out on the Voice Selection panel. Click the speaker headshot to access the Voice Selection panel.

Step 3: Generate!



Once you chose your perfect voice, the text block will automatically convert and generate your voiceover file. You can listen to the generated file by clicking the play button on the bottom left.

Generating a Voiceover

In this section, we are going to walk through the process of creating a video project.



I know a lot of you create videos for all kinds of purposes. Marketing videos, product demos, educational videos, explainer videos, youtube videos…etc. Before you had to download the audio and import it into a separate video editor, which we heard you, was a huge hassle. That’s why in Genny, you can now create a video in one spot!







First, log into Genny. Once you are in your Workspace, select New Project, then click Video. Here, you can use multiple voices and directly add time-synced voiceover to your video.

On the right, you will see a region to upload your video file. You can either drag and drop from your computer, or press Upload.

Once the video is uploaded you will see it on the Timeline at the bottom. You can move this video block whereever you want on the timeline. Click on it, and drag it.



Next, let’s add some voiceover to it! Copy and paste your script, or write it in the text block. Press Enter and it will automatically convert it into audio within seconds.

Move the text block on the timeline to sync your voiceover to your video perfectly.



If you want to adjust the volume of your video asset, right click on the video block on the timeline like this, and adjust volume. For me, I want the video to have no sound at all.

Once you are done, press export, then render, and wait until your video renders. Once it&#8217;s done, download and you are good to go!

<li>Global Voice: There are 300 unique voices in 100 different languages. They are perfect for creating content in foreign language, or for localization of your existing content.</li>

Next, you can filter by different categories such as gender, language, age and use case.



There are four main use case categories.

Finally, you can listen to sample audios of the voices by clicking the profile picture of the voices. You can also bookmark the voice for easy discovery.

Choosing the perfect TTS voice for your content

Apart from typing directly into the text block, you can also upload documents into the editor.



The file types that Genny accepts are text files (.txt) and Microsoft word document files (.docx)







First click upload button on the left. Next, click Text.



Choose a text or word document file from your computer and voila! Your text will be parsed in the text block editor section.

Uploading a text document

Made a mistake? Don&#8217;t worry! You can undo it easily.



Simply to Ctrl+Z/Cmd+Z for undo and Ctrl+Shift+Z/Cmd+Shift+Z for redo.



You can do this for both text blocks, and timeline blocks.
